Every time I think Democrats in California state government can’t stoop any lower, they outdo themselves. Some of their greatest hits in recent years include a gasoline tax hike that can’t be used to expand our roads; a sanctuary state policy that protects criminal illegal immigrants; and a new law to soften the penalty for knowingly exposing people to HIV.

I look forward to campaigning in 2018 to represent the 42nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. It’s been my honor and privilege to represent my constituents in the House and advocate for meaningful solutions to the challenges and opportunities we face.

I am truly honored to be elected to once again serve our region in the House of Representatives. Our country has been on the wrong track for many years and I am ready, willing, and able to advocate for policies that will improve economic opportunities and keep Americans safe.

Today, Representative Ken Calvert (CA-42) announced that the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association has endorsed his campaign for the 42nd Congressional District. The Riverside Sheriffs’ Association represents more than 3,200 Deputy Sheriffs, Correctional Deputies, D.A. Investigators, Probation Officers, and Deputy Coroners.
