Today, Congressman Ken Calvert announced he has been endorsed by the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association.
“When it comes to supporting public safety and having the back of law enforcement officers, we can always count on Ken Calvert,” said Riverside Sheriffs’ Association President Bill Young. “At a time when radical liberals are pushing to defund the police, Ken isn’t afraid to stand up for law and order. We need proven public safety advocates like Ken in Congress and are proud to support him in this election.”
“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association,” said Calvert. “Public safety is one of the top issues on the minds of voters because of failed liberal policies that have made it more difficult for our law enforcement officers to do their job. The Riverside Sheriffs’ Association knows I will stand up for them and reject calls by radical Democrats to defund the police. Public safety has and will always be one of my top priorities.”
Calvert has been endorsed by the California Republican Party, the Riverside County Republican Party, local law enforcement organizations, and a long list of local leaders.
Calvert is the Dean of the California House Republican Delegation and a lifelong resident of Corona, which is the largest city in the newly drawn 41st Congressional District. Other cities in the district include Norco, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Canyon Lake, Menifee, Calimesa, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, as well as portions of Eastvale and Riverside.
