Today, the Ken Calvert for Congress campaign announced that the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association has endorsed Congressman Ken Calvert in the 42nd Congressional District.
“I am tremendously grateful to receive the support of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association,” said Calvert. “I have a clear and consistent record of standing with our law enforcement officers. I will continue to back our men and women in blue and defend them from attacks by radical extremists.”
“We endorse Ken Calvert for Congress because he is a staunch defender of law and order,” said Riverside Sheriffs’ Association President Bill Young. “Ken has rejected calls to defund the police and supported policies that will help us keep our region safe. Now, more than ever, we need to elect leaders like Ken who aren’t afraid to stand up for public safety.”
Currently, the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association represents over 3,500 members from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the Coroner’s office, the District Attorney’s office, and the Probation Department.
Ken Calvert is a former small business owner and the current U.S. Representative in California’s 42nd Congressional District. The 42nd District encompasses the western edge of Riverside County, including the cities of Eastvale, Corona, Murrieta, Menifee, and a portion of Temecula.
