Today, the Ken Calvert for Congress campaign announced that the California State Association of Letter Carriers has endorsed Congressman Ken Calvert in the 42nd Congressional District.
“As a long-time advocate for the postal service, I’m proud to earn the backing of the California State Association of Letter Carriers,” said Calvert. “Support for our postal service is not something that should ever be a partisan issue. Millions of Americans rely on our letter carriers and postal service to meet a variety of needs. That’s why I supported a $10 billion loan to support the postal service during our ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, introduced legislation increasing the penalties for mail theft, and have been a staunch proponent of maintaining six-day service.”
The California State Association of Letter Carriers is the California representative of city delivery letter carriers employed by the U.S. Postal Service, and an affiliate of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Ken Calvert is a former small business owner and the current U.S. Representative in California’s 42nd Congressional District. The 42nd District encompasses the western edge of Riverside County, including the cities of Eastvale, Corona, Murrieta, Menifee, and a portion of Temecula.
